Releasing a series about a pandemic induced apocalypse caused by the earth itself trying to rectify the excesses of humanity could have gone wrong in so many ways. That fact that Sweet Tooth didn't fall into any of those potholes is evidence of the subtlety and craftsmanship of its creators. The acting was measured and well-balanced, the images and setting beautiful and sensitive, and the story and dialogue powerful. The relationships were relatable and nuanced. I loved it.
