All I'm gonna say is that this show definitely teaches the importance of MINDING YOUR OWN BUSINESS

uhh I stopped on episode 4 after the thing with Shancai and Daoming Si on the rooftop, it was just too much for me. Being a person who has seen Boys over Flowers several years ago, I know that it is going to end with the two of them inevitably getting together but I honestly can't see how they will somehow justify what he did to her. (little spoiler so if you haven't seen it yet, you might not wanna read this part) He cornered her on a rooftop and threw her against a wall (twice) and punched a wall near her head and then forced a kiss on her (also twice) then had the audacity to comfort her on the floor after all of that and the whole scene was just extremely visceral and uncomfortable to watch and it pains me to know that she will eventually fall for him

It seems like a good concept but the characters are predictable and boring and the whole movie is bathed in darkness and I couldn't see what was going on half the time. Even in scenes when the characters were in a supposedly lit up place, it was still dark. I couldn't tell a characters ass from their face it was that dark.
