I have never felt so much for a book. I did not want to keep it down. It pierced my heart and bled me - that was the novel's level of poignancy. The beautiful ornamented writing of Miller comprehensively evokes the love between Achilles and Patroclus, and their pain thereafter. Nothing in this book is not worth reading. It will remain my favorite book. It is hauntingly touching.

Haven't quite read a book like this. If your soul is searching for answers and you heart wants solace, this is the book you need to pick.
