This film made me truly appreciate cheeseburgers.

Okay... Number one, CGI was pretty good. Number two, the only characters that were done justice were Roy Mustang, Maes Hughes, and Lust. Those were the good things I found. *deep inhale* So as a person who has seen this anime, and loves it dearly, I was very disappointed. Watching it dub was a complete mistake... you just can't dub a live action movie. Period. The acting itself was, as Sheldon Cooper would say, subpar to say the least. I know it's hard to fit 60 episodes into a two hour movie, but the plot was just so jumbled that it was hard to keep track of what was going on, which characters were involved in what, and why some characters were even there in the first place. Also, a lot of the characters had rushed development and many of them were not given the sort of personality that we had grown to love in the anime (*cough cough* Winry becoming a defenseless side character). I felt that some of the casting could have been much better. For an anime adaption, it was meh. So I'd probably give this movie a 3.5/10.

This show was my childhood! All of the interesting math and science problems the kids solved helped me learn a lot as a kid, and I always dreamed of being a contestant! Such an amazing experience for children and their families.
