Excellent movie, beautifully filmed.
The Midway battle is based on a true WW2 event, it's characters were well played and the story is the prelude and the battle itself. Good actors, very watch able. One minor noticeable thing were the crinkled unironed look of the US uniforms, ie shirts and jackets.
