I thought the movie was battling to find a plot, but rather than the B-rated war movie with aliens, it turned out to be deep and challenging. It didn’t glorify war, promoted acceptance across cultures, peace even. I enjoyed it, but it was a struggle to make it through it... left wanting to see what these monsters were up to.
