Eccentric but sensitive, Captain Marleau compares herself to Columbo. Wearing her trademark rumpled parka and Russian ushanka-hat, every episode opens with her getting some exercise, running or swimming. Not likely to voted best-dressed or even refined, Marleau always catches the culprit. Episodes include famous French actors including Gérard Depardieu. The locations are interesting and the plots well-written.
