The film humanizes officers who murder innocent people due to self admitted “rage” and “wanting to punish” said innocent person. The officer cries bc they won’t see their daughter for, rightfully, going to jail for murder. I feel more for the family of the innocent person he murdered than him. He chose to hurt, self admittedly, and kill and now must face the consequence. In 2021 when in real life this happens and people seem to sympathize more with cops who murder than innocent victims, this film is a middle finger to all those innocent victims as if they’re side didn’t matter.
