A beautiful depiction of life. Babyteeth's use of scenes that don't necessarily episodically connect to eachother generates a feel of real life, it's not perfectly flowing and organised, it's real. The scenes in which there is little dialogue aid the creation of a wonderfully genuine and beautifully awkward and immersive picture which doesn't follow the lead of many modern films which seem to be almost obsessed with giving the viewer constant dialogue and preoccupied with spoon feeding them an organised, jam filled plot. Babyteeth makes you feel the things the characters are feeling and makes it almost impossible to not realise the intricacy of everyday.
