This was a truly amazing book! I really loved the twist in the beginning of the book. I thought it was just gonna be about some high schoolers life, not that’s a bad thing. But I’m not really the big sci fi type but this really was a great book. Seriously tho when you look at some of the reviews that are like 2 stars, they only say that they read like 100 pages or less, like seriously don’t rate a book that you haven’t even read!!! Also I probably would say that this is like 12+ age rating because it does contain slightly more mature content, but I mean it’s really not awful for like a 12 year old kid. And it does contain bad language but I mean seriously people reading a bad word isn’t gonna kill you. But other than that this is really an amazing and fun journey that this book takes you on.

I looooooooved the books I read the entire series twice, excluding the fours special, and I’m starting to read it a third time and I’m already on insurgent. So I begged my mother to buy the movies, and when she finally did I watched the first one and then didn’t even watch the second one, cause I was so disappointed with the movie. Like the book series “The Hunger Games” they both were and are very popular, but my question is why are the hunger games movies amazing but divergent ones horrible? I get it, if you haven’t read the books, you probably think it’s pretty good, well then stop reading right now and just read the books before you watch the movie! How come there was any water in the chasm, and everything was so small looking and boring, and the casting was not all that good either. I mean they nailed Al, Peter, Caleb, and Tris. But the rest were just sad, cause they were not what I pictured at all! For example, mr. monkey face Tobias/Four was the worst character cast in the movie ever, four is supposed to be like dreamy and strong, and not look like a monkey’s buttox! And then Christina, she’s ok i guess but wouldn’t be my first choice. Then Will, he was ok too, I thought he could use a better haircut or something. Oh my gosh, worst of all was Eric!!! I know he’s like the bad guy but he is just the ugliest person ive ever seen, yeah he’s scary, but he doesn’t have scary ugly, they could him just less wide, he’s not fat but just wierdly wide for how the book describes him, in my opinion. Some of the scenes movie were just wierdly awkward though, like bad acting. Overall, I did not think that this movie was at all good enough for its book. And I have now have a dream of remaking it myself, which mean picking characheters, special effects, and all that stuff
