Not bad for the first season. I hope there’s a season 2 and they utilize more of the 90’s vibe. And I know the show is supposed to be about the kids but hoping the original characters from that 70’s show make more appearances considering they’re the parents of at least 2 of the current main cast🤷🏽‍♀️

Personally I think Mulan was decent. I wasn’t sure how I would like it, minus Mushu, but I ended up liking some of the changes. For example, I like in this version, that Mulan actually had fighting skills in her background. I like the combat sequences. And I very much like the end of the movie. She saved a nation and her destiny definitely shouldn’t have been her having to get married to bring honor. I like that her commander came to honor her in her village. I like that the Emperor’s offer was reissued because her destiny should be that of a warrior. Although the only thing that I didn’t completely care for was some of the dialogue. I get that they were trying to insert some of the content from the animation but it kind of fell short.

Personally I like it...it’s different and they brought more cultures to it....although there some similar things you can line with the old show, I’m glad they went a different route with it...the last thing I wanted to see was something predictable....although I will admit I was hoping that maybe the original charmed ones kids would somehow be in here...I’m kinda glad there not. I loved the old charmed show, it was my bliss as much as my awakening, but I like how it ended and feel if they would have been incorporated into this new series it would of just been off. I like that this series is showing that the craft does not just belong to white women but other cultures around the world....so hoping people watch this show with an open mind
