No frills, clearly communicated step-by-step instructions for the beginning makeup student. Chapters include: Makeup/Brushes/Supplies, Using and Cleaning Brushes, Creating a Personal Face Chart, Preparing the face, Enhancing Makeup, Aging Makeup, Character Makeup and Glossary. My only critical comment, and I'm certain it was a way to keep the cost of the text low, is that there are no color illustrations or photographs in the book. Maybe in the 2nd edition. As of this date, the only way to order is by contacting the author(s) directly. Not available on Amazon.
