This series made me read about Unit 731. Lots to revisit and relearn about WWII. It's well written and fast paced. The story and characters would have stood on their own even if lesser known Korean actors played the lead. From the sets to the CGI, all were very well thought of. I don't like the soundtrack though. It would have been better if the songs were sung in Korean just to sound more fitting with the story line. Can't wait for season 2.

There were so many misses. The amount of time dedicated to nudity could have been better spent on character development. It lacked the gripping effect that American Horror Story has. The plot was ambitious but ot was disappointingly clear that it was not realistic nor empowering for those the script was supposedly catered for. It was a bore on most parts and after episode 5 i had just stopped watching

It was a waste of a good plot with so many missed opportunities for what would have been a compelling and relevant story . This was not Anne Hathaway nor Ben Affleck's best moments, partly because the screenplay itself was dry and because there isn't really much character development. The chance to have Willem Dafoe, who is a brilliant actor, was likewise wasted. It was one of those movies where you just keep on waiting and waiting for something to happen and the credits are already rolling. The trailer itself was misleading because I thought it was an action packed movie, but sadly all the "action " that was supposedly there were nothing but edited shots and has really nothing to do with the main plot. Did not live up to its hype, if there was any. Completely unimaginative and a waste of two solid hours.

Regarding of your political, religious beliefs, ethnicity and current location, there is no denying that Messiah is a well written series, laden with a lot of thought provoking questions as to who and what is right and wrong, who to believe and who to not believe. It is a very polarizing show that I would not recommend for religious zealots for their sensibilities would truly be offended. But as a general part of the audience, I say it is worth binge watching .
