Julia Roberts is outstanding in her gripping role of a mother battling for the very life of her child against the demons of drug addiction. The entire cast is outstanding in their portrayal of a family caught in the nightmare of addiction. Robert’s is spot on in the sweeping emotional roller coaster of a parent fighting the doctors and pharmaceutical companies who continue to prescribe addictive drugs to teenagers in sports. My daughter blew out her knee and in less than a week on oxicodone she was addicted and it was a battle getting her off the drug. If I hadn’t been a mean mom and my daughter a fighter we might have been in this exact situation. Thank you for doing this movie!
