What a boring book. How this received an ok recommendation by Marian Keyes is a joke yes. The characters are boring and unrelatable. I don't have any sympathy for the main character. Wasted my.money on this one. Go back to writing fiction for women's magazines. Big fat zero from me.

Disappointing and miscast. But then maybe the mistake was mine. You see I read the book before I saw the movie. I imagined a much more interesting cast,although I thought Bana was good as the lead character. But not his best work. The most glaring mistake was that the script was very poorly adapted Too much emphasis on cinemtography , THE VAST DRY LANDSCAPE and not enough on character. It's a shame it had it's moments but too few to make it more than average.
