Excellent suspense/thriller. As always with good movies, it's not the tale (which is nothing special), it's the way it's told. The acting is top class from everyone, especially the two young leads. The small-town setting and the underlying themes of obedience, family and coming to adulthood give it a satisfying extra heft. 9/10, one of the best flicks I've seen this year.
PS: As someone else said, although the story involves a serial killer who tortures and murders women, there's very little of that in the film, thankfully, and it's not egregious.
