Brilliant film for Wes Anderson die hard fans(myself included), but the most confusing 1hr 48m for someone who isn't familiar with his work. Therefore, if you are trying to introduce your friends to Wes Anderson it's probably best not to start with this one (as brilliant as it is). Anderson really shows off his impeccable eye for detail through his signature colour pallete, fonts, sets and characters. It's truly a beautiful, well crafted film that celebrates his skill as a director. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The grand Budapest hotel is still my all time favorite🏩.
