this isnt so much about the album as it the movie.. im pretty sure i saw this at either the belmont theatre or the one in san carlos (possibly one in the same) just south of san francisco.. my point being is that after digesting mushrooms w/ a friend and taking a seat in the balcony area, what stands out in my mind is that it was a form of therapy for sir paul.. man like that needs an outlet.. im sharing this out of pure recall, not having checked in with the movie or cast ot what have you.. i vaugely remember Ringo.. david lindley (?).. to me it was therapy for a guy who lost his friend to the exact thing he had railed against.. i was stoned but i was paying attention.. he did it because he could and because he needed to.. i tghink the last scene was mccartney playing guitar on a street corner... somebody actually dropped some coins in
