If you are looking for something along the lines of Sex and the City, Friends, How I Met about Mother, Girlfriends Guide to Divorce, or The Bold Type…don’t watch this. I AM mid-40s…which seems to be the demographic this is aimed at. But these characters don’t develop/change…they are all neurotic and miserable, and their friendship is unlikely. Setting Europeans (with lots of dialog in a foreign language) into the California setting seriously makes a landscape most of America cannot relate to. I gave it 7 episodes….hoping it d have character development. I assumed a lot was just setup and foundation for forward movement. If there was after episode 7, I won’t waste any more of my time waiting.
