Gritty, dysfunctional, heart breaking and honest, Kate Winslet is sucking on diesal and I loved every minute. Can't wait for the next episode.

It's obvious where the influence of this film lies but without the likeability of the characters in Close envounters, i found this frustrating and dull. Lots of,lights and banging but no real action or aliens evident. Too much atmosphere not enough story and dodgy American accents doesnt make a great sci fi thriller for me.
