spent a lot of time on the battles and less on plot lines or character development. I don't mind gore if it makes sense in the story, but it seemed like the gore was more of a highlight than a detail. I didn't find the characters as likeable a relatable as they could have been. Seemed like the story was just churned out and then they relied on subtitles before and after to complete the story and avoid too much dialogue. It was well shot and all, but the story was lacking, and I love this genre because I'm a huge history nerd. It definitely could have been better.
