This a chick flick, but it's a good flick. The movie is slow and that may turn some movie goers off. If you're patient you'll see a very good movie. Black Love on the big screen is beautiful. The soundtrack is awesome!! Issa Rae was great and so was the male lead. Their chemistry was great. I enjoyed the movie and so will you.

If you repeatedly enjoy getting served trash then you will enjoy this latest piece of trash served up by Tyler Perry. I was hoping that this movie would be different and better than all of his other overly dramatic movies, but I was wrong. Same old storyline, lonely woman meets man, man is nice. Woman and man get married and BOOM! Man is now mean and does mean things. Woman gets revenge and the world is right again. Roll the credits. The acting was horrible. The plot was so unbelievable only a child would believe it. The ending was sooo stupid I sat here in shock and thought to myself.. I know he didn't write that on paper and hand it to someone to read out loud. He seriously needs to step back from writing and let other writers write, but we know that will never happen. Listen I'm proud of what he's doing but his movies suck! Black people in general will continue to support his garbage just because he is black. I'm a black man and I am guilty of doing this. If it's not a Boo Movie I will avoid it. His dramatic movies are down right horrible. Save 2 hours of your life and watch something else on Netflix. If I could give it zero stars I would.
