First of all Brava to the entire and cast and crew...simply stellar!!
Here is my perspective as a black woman living in America today:
I was shocked when the cop shot Queen. Then my heart broke when she was the first to jump and injured her shoulder and I thought to myself...."Wow, she can't catch a break!"
But when the cop shot her at the end, I literally broke down in tears because the shot and abuse to her body that she kept getting in the film is very indicative of the plight of black women today.
We are constantly being attacked, abused and only God knows what. So I really felt the shot when she died because creatively it was showing the stuggle that black women go through.
