F@:#$ this!!!! I didn't even watch the movie. You know why?? Because in the trailer i saw milla jovavich use time travel/world hopping to get to the monster hunter world. INSTANTLY TURNED OFF! F$!×# that. Im a fan of the amazing world of monster hunter. I have the games, and its so good! Why stain this amazing franchise with time travel/world hopping? Why does capcom keep selling rights to paul s anderson? Imagine will smith driving around in a hummer and suddenly gets pulled into the lord of the rings, does that sound fun?!?! Also the characters in the monster Hunter games seem to be very "tribal", so did they use milla time traveling as an excuse to get a very Caucasian woman into the monster hunter world?? Is this whitewashing like ghost in the shell??? I will never pay for this and may never see it. Why is it so hard to stick to the lore without some gimmick like time travel/world hopping. Im out!!!

This movie was bad and captured none of the magic the original had. An absolute cash grab, do not see this movie! The problem is the realistic animals are extremely limited for realisms sake, AND CANNOT CONVEY EMOTION. This is the main problem with the film. The cgi is wonderful and top notch, but the movie is 99% the same as the original with no new character building or lines, and the scenes felt rushed. Plus most of the songs were shortened, and many nostalgic scenes cut. You realize you are watching a documentary when timon never walks on 2 feet (just like a real marekat (sp)). I wanted to like this ill given this 5/10 and only cause the cgi was good, but that alone could not carry the rest of it. Go see toy story 4, that was a perfect movie.
