I think the haunt series was fantastic! I do suggest that is should be watched more than once to get a full feel of the story line and to really connect with the characters. I cannot wait to see what is in store for us next with these hauntings. I find it hard to understand the negative critic's reviews especially from those who do not typically watch or care for darker show and from my perspective they will never understand the underlying to them either. There are people who like a thrill or scare and those who absolutely do not and if you go in as some who doesnt like these types of movies or shows there will be no positive feedback and their opinions are unnecessary to other viewers. I give 5 stars to Haunting of Bly Manor and the same to Haunting of Hill house. I would watch them many times over and there is always something knew that was missed which keeps the shows fascinating and extremely extraordinary....... or shall I say " perfectly splendid " well done to all those creative minds and actors for providing something so exhilarating and exciting for your truest fans!!!
