Little women has been adapted countless time (both for TV & cinema), as a time piece is a double edged sword to adapt: in one hand is fascinating to watch what a new adaptation could bring but in the other forcing XXI century SJW values and moores into a classic literary jewel is not only out of place...is directly contaminating. The classic story is fascinating because encapsulates the struggles and social problems of certain specific era...that´s the power of it. No more no less. Some things should remain loyal to the source material: this is one of them.

Season 5 is a mix bag: The first episode was solid,endearing, clever and complex. The second one was brillaintly acted but the story was boring & by the numbers linear and the 3th one was terminally unbeareable, disconnected, cheesy and unforgivably stupid. The production values are somewhat there still but Black Mirror Season 5 feels cheaper and less fascinating than early seasons, is a extremely short season yet somehow this one feels uninspired, rushed & tedious. I watched Season 1 earlier and the difference is abysmal. Even the maligned Bandersnatch was more clever and interesting. Season 5 feels like it was a shore to produce for the creators (just 3 episodes this year really?) and the result is a show that became also a shore to watch for us fans: It was watchable but left a conformist aftertaste like a rushed microwaved meal. The brilliance of the first seasons seems so far away. Is this the beging of the end?

A problematic trainwreck of a reboot: a politized failed attempt of bringing back a beloved series. Messy, heartless and at times tedious. It still have great acting performances & production values but the PC agenda, by the numbers narrative and the unwanted SJW undertones are not only distracting and predictable but overall unsavory & akward to watch. No sense of dread, mystery, the macabre sense of humour of the original is nowhere to be found. This not a mystery tv show : is an akward PSA for liberal-millenial folk & a messy one at it. Peele should stick to his "all-black movies" where at least he shines at showing his racial resentment.
