Good lord, what a stupid bloody movie. Michael Bay needs to roll over and retire, already... now his idiotic 'cool' shots are being accented by drone fly-bys, as well as his dumb light effects. I get it... I'm not watching this for realism, but the plot holes and illogic is staggering. The entire cast looks like it was taught to shoot by a storm trooper. Every gun never runs out of ammo. A character loses 3/4 of his blood and has a gaping hole in his abdomen, but still manages a perfect conversation with a rosy complexion. Somehow, I'm enthralled by limitless gunshots and action, and yet I'm still falling asleep. SO DUMB.

It would get 4-5 stars if the music wasn't so bloody awful. JFC... it's TERRIBLE. Everything else is pretty good. Action is OK. Plot holes are gargantuan, but if you don't take it too seriously, it's a fun watch.

I'm not even done watching it and I'm writing this review. I just watched 10 minutes of wheat gathering. TEN MINUTES. Thanks Zack Snyder... that's some solid storytelling. 🙄 Truncated storytelling, poor development, multiple failed attempts at stylized photography and overuse of slow-mo... there should be a series that goes into the characters, but instead, the director opted to interrupt the flow with flashbacks. Nothing kills a movie's momentum like an irrelvant flashback. Just, NO. That being said, it's beautiful. Phenomenal CGI, good imagination with regards to alien species, ships, planets, etc. Shame they couldn't extend that interest to the story.

It's bad. I mean, REALLY bad. Even for a B movie, this acting deserves several Razzie nominations. The writing is terrible, but the delivery is just painful... cringe-worthy. The plot holes are ridiculous, the decision-making of the characters is what you'd expect your dog to do... SO BAD. That being said, if you want mindless gore, it serves its purpose.

So much potential... beautiful scenery, beautiful cast... and then there's the writing. If you're looking for self-indulgent teenage diary entries book-ending your episodes, and interspersed liberally throughout the achingly slow-paced story-telling, this is your show. Good lord, it's slow. This could have been an epic 6-part series, but somebody decided extended melodrama is better than good story-telling. Shame. Especially when it's based on Yellowstone, to which it doesn't hold a candle. Skip it.

Good God, what a bloody waste. Premise, excellent. Potential, excellent. Effects, very good. Even the vehicles look good. But then you make us sit through 2 hours of a teenage love triangle, but with an alien inhabiting a body and somehow feeling the same angst as an overemotional (and overacting) girl. Not Sci fi. Barely Sci. It's a teen, romantic, slog through the mud of literary shame. Avoid.

Kind of torn, here... The premise is pretty interesting. Cool idea with regards to water ice on the moon. But the execution is bloody awful... no spoilers, but a few examples... The sequences showing them walking on the moon are hilariously bad. No special effects, just the actors asked to walk moon-like. Picture a grade-school production of a moon walk and you get the picture. Laughably terrible. But that applies to all gravity-related effects in the entire film. It seeks physics is optional on this particular moon... The story is SO BLOODY SLOW! There's a scene where a character is on, basically, an elevator shaft, outdoors. The action sequence that follows is over 12 minutes and COMPLETELY useless. The actions, movements, music, suspense... all wasted when we have to stare at a character's reaction for over 90 seconds straight. Just... don't expect too much. Decent watch, but a lack of scientific knowledge/research/fact makes a lot of it cringe-worthy.

Final production is fantastic. Blumhouse, it seems, can do no wrong and again, has made a visually gorgeous film. But the script... good lord... Andrea Mugnaini is responsible for writing, directing and producing this forced, awkward and truly vomitous collection of contrived cinematic verse. He desperately needs to be sponsored for some sort of filmmaking classes or an apprenticeship of some sort with someone who writes for a living. Truly horrendous.

Absurd. Terrible beyond comprehension. I'm thoroughly amazed this movie got made. It takes place far in the future - 5 CENTURIES in the future. But they still use projectile weapons. And 2006 Toyota pickup trucks. The plot holes are obscene - enormous errors in logic, story line, explanation and consistency. The acting was... well, Bruce was passable because his character was basically John Maclean without the wit and charisma. The rest of the cast was 'meh,' at best. Shockingly awful. Enjoy.
