In the greatest arm wrestling movie ever made, Sly Stallone stars as a long haul trucker trying to build a relationship with his estranged 12 year old son, while also trying to beat other truckers at arm wrestling. The grand prize for winning the truckers arm wrestling tournament is a new truck. Along the way, he teaches his son how to arm wrestle and drive a truck. Robert Loggia costars as the kid's wealthy grandfather and Terry Funk costars as Loggia's head goon, though it's not really clear why he would need goons. Great film.

New kid in town runs afoul of the local karate bully and his friends. Basically a teenage Rocky... great characters, great story, great acting. One of the most iconic films of the 1980s.

Miyagi and Daniel travel to Okinawa, where they make enemies and find love. Daniel learns the Secret Of Miyagi Family Karate, which is basically punching your opponent in the face over and over again until he drops. The first film in the series to feature cartoonishly evil villains, it's a little too silly to be taken seriously, but not as over-the-top hilarious as part 3. Worth a look.

Miyagi babysits and teaches karate to a troubled teenaged orphan named Julie who is being bullied by a group of paramilitary school hall monitors who are trained by an evil gym teacher named Col. Dugan. Even more ridiculous than part 3 but nowhere near as much fun.

40 year old billionaire dedicates himself to tormenting a teenage boy who was indirectly responsible for his friend's karate dojo going bankrupt. One of the most unintentionally hilarious movies I've ever seen. Highly recommended.
