Weart provided an excellent overview of the history of US politics here. Thank you. It gave me good perspective while I consider spending the rest of my days advocating a political party for the majority of people in the middle. Something very similar to what is suggested by Weart.
Besides the historical facts, Weart provided a lot of opinion, a little conspiracy theory, and at some point I wondered, just a little, whether some of the facts outlined in the history provided weren't tainted. Not enough to be concerned about.
Overall, a very good read for me. I greatly appreciate the time it must have taken to compile these facts and ponder the solution of a new party for the majority.
