I never go by what the critics say. What a wonderful film. Scenery , the times , and the outcome . only David Srathairn I recognised and a nice change to see newer actors . Go see it (I should have read book first ... never mind )

From the moment the film started with all the jewelled belts I knew it was going to be great . To have an actor like Austin , born after Elvis passed, do Elvis characteristics so well is a fine interpretation of him. Interwoven were Elvis’ love of gospel singers and Rhythm and Blues of his childhood to Col Tom Parker’s manipulation of Elvis ‘ home spun , country character and the great trust he put in the Col. Tom Hanks did well . You will enjoy this movie I felt saddened at the end seeing Elvis’ last concert , he still had a remarkable voice and I just wished he had a had have lived longer . I also enjoyed seeing Australian actors too, David Wenham and Richard Roxburgh .

Quirky , funny , awkward , Kitty and company are great... look forward to it every week ...well done Aunty ( another great show in the Rosehaven vein)

Can totally relate , As a sibling our home was total chaos in the 60’s with the screaming , stamping of feet and frustration of our sister who couldn’t tell us what she wanted....we all have a sense of humour thank goodness...
