Unlike everybody else, that would tell you they read all the books, watch all the movies and videos. Played the video games, I only did one of those things. I played the video games. First time seeing the preview, my thoughts, no way they can mess this up. It would be an atrocity, If they did the same storyline from the video games. Asinine. They didn't as I hope they would. What they chose to do instead, is create an entirely different alternate reality of Halo. Which could have been great but it wasn't. Shouldn't even be called Halo to be honest. Maybe the Great Journey of the Rings or something like that. First off, covenant is BA! That's the best thing about the show. Master Chief, amazing wow....sike! Look, in the video games I remember Master Chief as a hero of all mankind. In this movie he's an enemy of mankind, apparently the resistance, as well as the covenant, who by the way has a human on their side. There's a war amongst mankind while they're at genocide of war with a superior species called the covenant. Who wrote that, take that person's pen away. Qwan...what!? Literally terrible writing. I can't see this going past two seasons. If it does, they got somebody new to write. If they didn't, whoever is writing caught on and did better. Strongly encourage nobody to buy to watch. Wait until the seasons up, if they discontinue it, use Paramount free trial, for one week watch it. I guarantee you will be skipping a lot of scenes. You should be done with it in about 4 days or less. One more thing, first episode Master Chief loses his composure. So much more to talk about, I've only seen three episodes, I tried can't bring myself to watch the fourth one. If you got high tolerance this is a show for you.
