Wow! I absolutely loved Sanditon! Wonderful story which was so refreshing in many ways from the point of view of it involving & focusing on the lives of other interesting characters & not just the main characters...who was charming & had that Jane- esque feistiness that we all Love! A friend had gotten this DVD for my sister & I to watch as we were reunited as restrictions lifted & I could visit her up in the Blue Mountains in Australia. We ended up binge watching this series & I stayed another day so I could finish watching it together!!! Well done all involved & the writer. Beautiful performances everywhere & I totally felt invested(as you can tell) & transported into that era...but in some ways in a more uplifting way than previous Jane Austen stories. I wonder if it’s not time to try again in terms of offering the series to the American Market?...or perhaps Australia (to the colonies so to speak lol) . We sooo enjoyed it we watched all the extras on the DVD we could & then googled to see if there was a second Series but alas it said it was not to be as yet...We are hungry fir more of the stories of that ensemble. Given the status of the beautiful black character...it could be quite inspiring at this point in time too for others to see(American audience(I would think) . Thank You again for your creation & the foresight to pick this story up to bring to life. I think Jane Austen would highly approve. 🙏
