As a part of the LGBTQ community, I friggin' LOVED this show. The main character is a gay trans man, and his best friend is BIPOC with social anxiety issues. The way the show gently explored these issues, issues many young lgbtq folks often face, was well done and thought out. It was gut-wrenching at times to draw parallels.
There's also this cool fantasy theme park setting. The demons and monsters are scary, but not too disturbing for younger viewers.
Personally, I think this show is great for young folks, especially those who are part of or want to be allies of the lgbtq+ community. And are into spooky and terrifying monsters!
