Not an Indian nor American, but being born and raised in Asian household, this show hits me real hard. Especially on that tough parent love and ugh i love that. Everything about the show is on-point, uh except the part where Devi being a lil bit extra dramatic. but then again, aren't we a bit angsty when we were teens? And this may sound corny, but man we have been deprived of that cheesy school-rival-turned-lover romance and hello?! have you ever seen so many POC in an American tv show before?! I had to Google to make sure they didn't whitewash Paxton H-Y!! Please don't f-ed up season 2 pleaseeeee!! From one Asian to another, never been so relatable to a tv show before!
