Although I am a teenager I personally don’t mind the show. It’s actually quite an interesting plot, and it’s actually got lots of emotion and very likeable characters. Unlike other kid shows where the animals just... TALK. I like how the plot was set up so that only the main characters can understand don’t them. And they have a reasonable explanation for it. Although it’s not likely a mother dragon would rescue two baby human children, nothing is impossible. It may be rare but we all know there are rare instances of unbelievable fostering, or just friendships in the wild. Plus they have to make it more child friendly and enjoyable for the younger viewers. But the producers have done so in a way that seems too absurd to the older audiences. It’s got a good backstory to it so far, and it has ranging characters personalities which are always enjoyable. They are also somewhat complexed characters. Not just 2D. U can see the layers of these characters be shown in some emotional, yet clear ways, and you can learn from the lessons they learn from. Because even though it’s for kids, and there r dragons, it still has relatable message weaved in that don’t feel like they don’t fit in and we’re just tossed in to make it “educational.” It’s also got some overlapping storylines, like the Slitherwings, or Magnus of whatever the village grump’s name is. So I wouldn’t mind if it went on.
