It was mostly unentertaining movie about nothing. it simply didn't feel like the Marvel movies that I've come to enjoy. The character development was weak and didn't make you feel invested in any of the characters or their plights. The location filming just didn't feel right. it just never built any excitement, perhaps bad directing I'm not sure. Mostly the story just wasn't there, combined with the lackluster new characters that were added. America Chavez just didn't do it and wasn't anything to move the movie forward, Wanda's new direction wasn't great, and while some of the cameo characters COULD have been nice like Black Bolt, others were very lackluster, regardless all had a horrendous introduction, story, and scenes attached to them. If this is where Marvel movies are heading the days of MCU's reign are soon to be over.

This movie is absolutely awful. I couldn't stomach watching it all so I literally just skipped to the end to see how this train wreck ended and even that is absolutely awful. **** Spoilers ***** We have this woman who is literally kidnapping old people by legal means and scamming them out of all their money. She messes up and kidnaps the mother of a mob boss. the movie starts with the mob boss sending a lawyer to threaten her to get her to release the mob boss' mother. The reason I mentioned this is because the lawyer's threats are... she's going to end up with broken bones, she's going to lose friends and family, her company, her life, everything! and throughout the movie, what does she actually lose... NOTHING. this mob boss is a paper tiger, he must be the most incompetent and unintelligent mob boss on the planet, because he does literally not one of those things. I was expecting to see a movie where a woman has to figure out how to get away from a menacing mob boss giving her all sorts of problems... instead she's giving him all the problems while he's doing nothing, it was ridiculous. All this moron mob boss had to do was break her bones, off her friend that's in on the scheme, burn down her company, do anything! he's supposed to be a mob boss that's a killer, and he does nothing threatening. Instead, I think he hits her once and maybe her unscrupulous friend gets hit once also... I don't know if the friend gets hit more than once because when the woman gets home to find the friend bloodied and unconscious, it only lasts about a minute then the friend quickly wakes up and is fine (probably got punched in the nose and knocked out for a few seconds). obviously the mob boss didn't think to really do much to harm the friend and make the woman think twice. Once the he mob boss finally captures the woman and decides to kill her, he wants to make it look natural so he puts her in a car, drives it off of a short cliff into water where she easily escapes to come back and give him hell. First, why even make it look natural!? he's a millionaire mob boss, get rid of her and disappear her body using his mountains of money, or why not give her a killing blow to the head before the accident to make sure she's dead... they wouldn't know the blow wasn't from the accident, or why not just simply have one of his men stay across the lake to watch and make sure she doesn't swim away, awful. Anyway it ends with this hated woman defeating the mob boss and becoming filthy rich and famous for all of her evil deeds of swindling and kidnapping the elderly, so not only doesn't she NOT lose anything like the lawyer suggests, but she gains everything! these oblivious writers actually thought that'd be good, idiots. However, right before the end, some guy who's the son of some other woman who got swindled... and isn't a mob boss... easily shoots the woman one time and kills her dead. How the writers thought that might be a satisfying ending to anyone is beyond me. It also literally means the mob boss was utterly and completely inconsequential to this woman's story and invalidates the entire movie due to that fact. some random guy was able to do for his mom in a few seconds what a mob boss couldn't figure out the entire movie. Save yourself the grief and skip this completely.
