I was taken aback from everything about this show. Beautiful actors have given a outstanding performance. I was on the edge of my seat and stayed up 3 night obsessed with the show. Gerry has made me feel Xiao Han's sorrow, loneliness, and pain in the ending. I am psychologically affected days afterwards, I am constantly thinking about it. A second season idea could begin with Hu Ran coming back from treatment in America and then continue on with her mother's happiness. Just an idea.

So... Where do I start? I'm intrigued, yet disappointed. The whole first season was spent "setting the scene", for lack of better words. The last 2 episodes got crammed with important info, and then: POOF! It's over. Let's see if they even get a second season after this, and if they do, it's probably going to be a couple years from now just like all the other shows that hook us and then drop us right off that CLIFF!

This movie is powerful. The transition with testosterone was probably a long, hard process to begin with, then to go from that masculinity back to femininity full force, one extreme to the other and experience pregnancy must've been a major hardship. I feel like Freddy handled all of that like a champ. Well, I cried when grandma got that baby in her arms, she was there all along supporting her son all the way. Great job family.

Wow I loved this movie. It's like a dragon shifter book came to life.

Hands down, 5 stars. The mystical truth of the universe is a wonderful thing to portray to the world and where better to do that, than Turkey? Mehmet is one of the best actors alive today and Beren is not too far behind him. The writers have a exaggerated talent. I loved this show and am now anxiously awaiting a new season. Update: season 2 is just as good as the first, even better. Please keep them coming 🙏 Another update: season 3 was awesome. These writers have serious talent. Now they can either cut it off here, or go for the gold. There's endless legends, theories, and terrain. Great work!

I love everything about this show. Beautiful and talented actors, super intriguing storyline going deep into realistic metaphysics, romance, brutality, world chaos. Giving us a lived in and realistic side of Istanbul. The suspense and betrayal, even down to the disappointment, I stayed awake 2 nights binge watching and prayed for a second season. When I finally saw 2nd season I was thrilled and even more impressed. The storyline never changed and kept me at the edge of my chair, I even felt a little sorry for the villains! God bless everyone involved in this project.

Ok it's a corny modern version of old the 'Archie' cartoon mysteries, but it's cute. The thing that has bothered me to my absolute core is the MUSICAL scenes. If I wanted to watch musicals, I would seek them out. Ridiculous, cheesy, childish bad singing and overly exaggerated choreography. Also, the wardrobe is completely off. Other than that, it's a cute,corny little copy of 80s style (and most likely written by those who didn't even see the 80s through teen or adult eyes) show. It hurts me that all these remakes and copy cats of old school stuff can't come up with fresh ideas, so Riverdale is the most creative yet.

I was surprised to see the writer had obviously done research about the true mermaid legend, which is well known to many cultures, even today. This movie grossed me out a little with the hacking up bodies, but I guess they had to make a point. It seems a rather low budget film, with low budget acting, no graphics, just a bit basic and a little raw, but I am giving 5 stars to make up for others low reviews. I don't see those people out making films but they are quick to give a low score. Plus, the movie was better than I expected.

Season 1: Every time I start to get into the show, I'm just let down. In both TVD and TO, I was questioning if vampires, werewolves and such were actually real lol. Now, I just finished watching episode 5 and I'm just over it. A dragon girl just got killed off. A girl puking her guts out from getting devoured by a spider, a so called human protector gargoyle, and now it looks like a swamp monster is on the loose. None of these actors actually care about their roles, and they have no glamour look just like your average kids, filters suck, special effects look too far on the cheap budget, omg I can go on and on. I tried not to make my review a repeat of most of the other reviews I read, but the fact is that some of those people seem to have taken the words out of my mouth. TOTAL FATALITY. Update for season 2, a year later. I'm watching it just so I can say "I watched it". It's terrible. It couldn't be any cornier, and as before, Julie is die hard on trying her best to sort of mimic the old school 70s and 80s monsters which didn't exactly have modern graphics or cosmetics. Not to mention trying to add an episode of a mock Frogger game with the 80s hair and clothes. I get that trends go around and come back around every 20-30 years, but nice try, it's practically like 'Stranger Things' which was a total copied idea of 'Firestarter' starring a young Drew Barrymore. Anyway, I'm totally disgusted with season 2 as well, even though it looks like Julie at least tried to get a little real life drama and dialogue between the actors. It's still super cheesy attempt to copy old school shows. I don't even want to see what people think about Legacies 10-15 years from now. EPIC FAIL.

I liked season 1, but I was even happier with season 2, my only problem is it's too much witchiness, what I mean by that is they have portrayed so much evolution in metaphysics, and then they fantasize and falsify the "santero", by showing santeria as too many things mixed together, also giving it too much modern evolution. Hopefully in the future, the writers will find a way to distinguish santeria from Palo and spirituality and metaphysics instead of cramming them all together and evolving it into something it's not. But I am still giving 5 stars...at some point, I just laughed and said "it's a cute show". I wasn't very amused about the master/ slave relationship, that's not a very common story people are used to hearing about outside of latin America, and I think the African American audience will make a controversy of it, but latinos will accept it, since lots of us have heard the stories of those relationships passed through the generations. It's a happy story when Carmen is able to save her mother, I was sad to see Kobo killed, and wondering if somehow he will be a part of the next season, assuming there will be one.
