Don't really understand why there's so much hate for this movie - it's actually pretty good! It's super grounded and focused on a singular story, the creepy vibe is well done and works for a Hellboy movie. The new Hellboy actor portrays the character awesomely, the supporting characters are great too and there's not too many characters so it doesn't make things confusing or unnecessarily complicated. In my opinion the last Hellboy movie with David Harbour had waaay too much going on, cramming too much into one movie, the Crooked Man movie does it right but putting all it's energy into one villain and one storyline. The Crooked Man as a character in the movie was excellent too, super creepy and well established. There are some really well done creepy scenes scattered throughout the movie. It's a shame that people are hating on this movie so much because I honestly believe that this could've been turned into several movies, watching Hellboy grow and get more experienced as the movies progress, while continuing to focus on one story at a time. A sequel could've also potentially gotten a bigger budget, making it more refined and solving some of the superficial issues people have complained about in the film. For a movie that essentially nails Hellboy and it's stories, it's really strange that people don't like it.

This game really doesn't deserve the low ratings it's been getting. Without the leaks this game would've been received much better, because you really have to play the game to understand and appreciate everything about it. I'm going to be honest, there have been a few "cringey" moments in the beginning of the story, but the story is actually very good and makes sense as a sequel. I'm only 10 hours in so far, but I just wanted to say something because all these low ratings are just over exaggerated, people are honestly just doing it because it's "cool", theres no way half the people who rated it so low played through the game because it's only been out for 3, maybe 4 days. In my opinion, give this game a chance, even if you're bothered by what's being said about the story, which again is over exaggerated, the gameplay and graphics are actually insane and should be experienced just to see what masterclass game making looks like.
