What a great sequel. I started this book wanting to know what happens after they got back together. I started it in the morning during one of my boring classes and almost 15 hours later I had finished the book, craving for more. The end was just the thrill I needed. I do confess that Persephone's obsession of wanting to help her best friend, Lexa was a bit annoying, if only she had some patience and trust in Hades, everything would have been alright. But it gave the plot what was needed. Persephone to understand how things worked in the divide world. She needed that particular experience to evolve, even though it was slow. I absolutely love Hermes in this book. And surprisingly, I warmed up to Apollo too, at the end. The first book, I must admit, I read for the sex. But this, this I read for the story, the plot. And honestly, I don't get it why the other readers don't like Persephone so much here. The range of the character was so required for the story line. For me this book was better than the 1st one. And of course, I'm annoying my friends to start reading it.
