Who are these people?! The show should have been called: How to keep the flames of revenge alive forever. None of these characters or their friends are interesting or likeable ...well, maybe James tbh who ironically gets trampled on for no good reason by the sociopath Gemma. Season 1 was ok. I got the anger and betrayal. Season 2 was just ...a train wreck. I guess England is really desperate for doctors? Gemma acted unethically time and time again, bullying everyone around her into aiding and abetting her crimes or, silence. She should have been barred from medicine and jailed.

I am a huge fan of sci-fi but this isn't great sci-fi. It's Twighlight in space with way too much drama and that emotional music that's supposed to make us have *the feels*. Let me say this. They tried. But, honestly, the prerequisite for anyone acting or putting this together should have been to read the foundations. Maybe a consult with Neal Stephenson? The American (eye roll) commander of the ship is too emotional and rash and Im not sure how anyone is expected to have confidence in her. Her husband also presents a HUGE conflict of interest with these love letters she keeps having to leave her crew in critical moments to go read (and cry). For now, I'll keep watching. It might get better.
