I loved Star Trek's original message of hope for a better future one day but so far this show just seems to be sending the message that the future is inevitably going to suck no matter what anybody does so we should all be happy we're all going to be dead and won't live to see it. I stopped watching it when the scientist they went to find was murdered by one of them for no rational reason by somebody who supposedly loved him. If you need to be depressed go watch the news.
