Story is so good that it negates the poor vfx

Good first half. Second half is a bomb.

Amazing visual to watch. Some settings missed like the indoor forest scene. Else its a pleasure to watch.

A good story and decent acting (except Ranveer who veered into caricaturish acting) ruined by unnecessary propoganda which should have been used to portray personal lives and the difficulties of cricketers.
