This movie was so well done! The kids were immensely talented and I personally liked it even better than the original and that is saying something! The music was all so catchy I found myself rewinding to listen to multiple songs again! I started it while my husband wasn't looking because he was against it at first but then gave in because the first five minutes had us both hooked. Such a talented cast from the young kids to the of course always talented Emma Thompson!!!

This movie is so much fun to watch! Because of its 20 year timeline span it is fun for a variety of ages, with lots of 90s references. It's funny to see how much life has changed over the span of the last 20 years, but you get to see the hilarious reactions of Rebel Wilson when she learns just how much it has. The whole movie is meant to be cheesey and fun with a lot of great underlying messages about social media, to never stop trying for what you want, and to also not be afraid to be yourself. My husband and I watched this from beginning to end, including credits, because of how heartwarming it was to see the dancing of the cast AND crew and how much fun it looked like they were having while making this movie. Loved it and will definitely watch again!

I love Rachel McAdams, my husband loves Will Ferrell. It was a pair I never knew I needed but their performance together was spectacular! It was an easy watch, gripping, emotional, funny, uplifting, and inspiring, and many more things in one. I love movies that take themselves just seriously enough to produce good quality but you can tell everyone on set had fun making it at the same time. It was very well done, especially for a Netflix original and I can't wait to watch it again and again!!!!

I watched it because it had several actors i really like. But literally nothing happened. You spend the whole movie not even caring about what happens to any of the characters because no one is relatable and there's no plot. It was like watching high school minus the drama that would have actually made it interesting. I actually feel bad for the actors that had to fake there way through this one because it seems like it was even boring to film.

I actually wasn't sure what to expect from this movie. I simply pressed play because I recognized the actors and have liked them in other things. First impression was that is was much more well done than I was expecting. Usually I won't even pay attention to movies or shows. I'll just have them playing in the background while I work, color, or just play on my phone. But I was so drawn into the story and what was going on that I actually gave this movie my full attention. Because it's a different time period sometimes it was hard to understand what they were saying. The line, "Only, our prompter ran off with the Lion Comique. And it won't all be lavender. They're be some fetch and carry but there's decent bunce and room in the digs with the dancers." had my husband and I wondering what on earth was happening. Had to rewind to figure that one out.. Overall, I liked the movie and would definitely recommend it!
