This was so disappointing and I found myself rolling my eyes on believability factor. I thought Colin Firth acted circles around Tucci, who was very robotic. Tucci's role was completely unbelievable as a person with dementia. There was no stumbling around for words, pausing to remember, or even acting confused. Firth's character stumbles across Tucci's notebook showing that he was incapable of writing...this after Tucci had just written a beautiful goodbye speech that Firth had to read. A complete let down from the perspective on those who suffer from dementia. No one is ever as with it and cool as Tucci's character. A complete disappointment.
