A slower, thoughtful sci-fi that uses the emptiness of space to examine manhood and explore the relationship of father/son and career/family. Beautifully filmed and more realistic than most sci-fi, though light on action and suspense. It will spur thought, but for the most part, won't make your heart race. 4/5
