Um .. There we're so many missed opportunities in this film. At first I thought the characters were innocently ackward which makes sense they're in high school..but really the whole pacing and execution of the film is very ackward. I wish there was a different, in depth point of view and less fear of backlash for showing the horror that a real school shooting entails, the slow agonizing minutes that go by during it. The pain of seeing those lost while trying to find safety within the school. That's how awareness works...portraying raw and real situations. This film breezed through the shooting with no depth, no character developments and went straight to her coping mechanisms and awkward interactions with friends and family. The hype fizzled out mid movie and I stopped trying to finish it. Whoever the director or writer is, needs to go back to school. Lol.
