I really do not like the horror aspects of this game in the fashion that it is going for. The overall gameplay of doom is supposed to overwhelm your senses with adrenaline, not fear. Doom Eternal gets it just right with the demons appearing out of every crevice you find, and with Doom 3 you have a game that has a really bad plot and relatively alright character designs. Doom isn't supposed to be a horror game, it is supposed to be a fast-paced FPS with demons coming at you from everywhere. While in Doom 2016 there were some horror elements, they got them better than Doom 3. Doom 3 is not worth the money and I believe that the rest of the reviews giving it 5 stars must have been before 2016 and/or eternal because considering what we have today, it is 1000x better than whatever this was supposed to be.
