I only watched two episodes so maybe take what I say with a grain of salt ... but also this is probably the worst TV show I've ever seen. I've never written a Google review for anything before but this show is genuinely so bad that I couldn't not give my two cents. This was a sorry attempt at trying to recreate the magic that is Selling Sunset.
The cast was completely, and I mean COMPLETELY unlikable. All of the white cast members were obviously rich, privileged, and seemed like they had no idea how the real world works despite saying over and over again that they do. Yes, everyone is also very white on Selling Sunset but at least they're self aware about their privilege.
Everyone on Million Dollar Beach House was extremely irritating to listen to and came across as incredibly immature. The racist microaggressions also disgusted me, and they were apparent within the first 5 minutes. I felt really bad for Noel and I hope that IF there's a second season, he does not sign onto it. He doesn't need that. Overall, everything about this show is incredibly tactless for 2020: no one wants to watch a show about white frat boys who have been privileged their whole life be mean to the one Black cast member while they make poor attempts at selling luxury homes.
Which brings me to my next point: every single cast member was SO. UNPROFESSIONAL. I was genuinely shocked at how bad these people were at marketing expensive homes. They either made inappropriate jokes to clients, had no knowledge of the property they were selling, were upsetting the homeowners, or somehow managing to do all three at once. It was embarrassing to watch and I genuinely don't know how these were the Hamptons real estate agents that managed to get on a TV show. They couldn't find people with actual experience and professionalism?!
If you want a fun real estate show like Selling Sunset, this one isn't it.
