The Overview Effect is one of my favorite space books. It has inspired my work as an author, educator and future astronaut. He has interviewed astronauts and cosmonauts and shares their first hand accounts of space and the idea that going into space can cause a powerful shift in your view of yourself, the rest of humanity and your home planet. It is a must read for all space explorers.
