The Percy Jackson and the Olympians books are in my opinion better than Harry Potter books. The series have plenty of monsters from human size to Godzilla size. The action is never boring and the humor is funny everytime you read it. The series has plenty of emotional parts in each book. The series has sacrifice, redemption, friendships,love triangles and everything you want in a magical mythical book series.
